Autism Support Crawley
Following the success of the completion of staff training, we are pleased to announce that Gossops Green Medical is now an Autism Friendly Practice.
We have a new booklet that can help children and young adults to understand what visiting the GP surgery is like. You can find a copy of this under 'Further Information - learning disabilities' on the right hand side of our website. Or if you are coming to see one of the Nurses or doctors and you would be interested in having one for a member of your family please ask when you next visit.
PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
We are currently recruiting patient representatives to have a say about the services provided at Gossops Green Medical.
Regular meetings are held to hear your voices.
Please leave your details if you would like to join the group with reception. Many thanks.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School works closely with this practice to train medical students to become doctors. We are involved in the teaching of medical students which means sometimes we will have medical students sitting into learn from our GPs and nurses.
If you do not wish to have students present please inform reception. Any decision you make will not affect your treatment. If you do consent to students, you may still ask the students to leave at any time should you change your mind. If you have any concerns, please discuss these with a member of the practice team.
